Harwich Education Partnership (HEP)

The Harwich Education Partnership is a group of schools who work together to improve the social, emotional and academic outcomes of the children within the partnership schools.

HEP comprises the seven primary schools located in Harwich and Dovercourt:

…and the Harwich and Dovercourt High School.

Our Executive Headteacher, Mrs Patrick, is currently the Chair of this Partnership and we hold meetings every half term to look at ways that we can work together on common development areas.

Development areas we are currently looking at:

  • Improve Attendance and Punctuality
  • Continue to embed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Encourage families to find safe ways to travel to school
  • Engage with the Essex Year of Number
  • Support the development of speech and language across our schools
  • Raise aspirations of our children and families

Where possible, we look to share policies and procedures so that expectations are the same for schools across the partnership.
We believe that partnership working is the best way to secure the very best education for the children and young people of Harwich.
