Good attendance and punctuality remain a top priority for us at Spring Meadow Primary and Nursery. We strive to ensure your child has the best opportunities to achieve their potential and regular attendance at school and arriving on time each day is key.

Please support us by:

• Ensuring your child attends school every day, when they are well enough to do so.
• Ensuring your child arrives on time each morning by 8:50am.
• Arranging appointments or holidays outside of the school day.
• Signing up to the Studybugs app to notify us about your child’s attendance/punctuality.
• Engaging with us to make improvements to name’s attendance and punctuality.

Where attendance needs improving we will support you by:

• Asking for proof of appointments taken during the school day.
• Visiting you and your child at home if they are absent.
• Communicating with you by telephone for reasons of absence.
• Greeting you in the entrance if your child is late to ask how we can support you in ensuring good punctuality.
• Receiving communication from us about your child’s attendance, this may include asking to meet with you if concerns continue.
